Position Overview
Modernizes legacy applications through cloud-native, container, API, microservice, serverless, and platform-as-a-service patterns.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess legacy application architecture, technical debt, dependencies, runtime environments, databases, interfaces, and modernization feasibility.
- Recommend and execute replatforming, refactoring, containerization, API enablement, or replacement approaches.
- Refactor applications into cloud-native services, microservices, serverless functions, container workloads, or managed-platform services.
- Integrate applications with CI/CD pipelines, cloud IAM, API gateways, secrets management, monitoring, centralized logging, and security controls.
- Develop technical designs, modernization backlogs, deployment plans, test cases, performance plans, and operational runbooks.
- Support functional, integration, load, security, and user-acceptance testing.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years in software engineering, application development, systems integration, or modernization. Experience with Java, .NET, Python, APIs, databases, containers, Kubernetes, serverless services, cloud-native databases, and CI/CD preferred.
