Position Overview
Maintains reliability, observability, capacity, performance, incident response, and operational automation for cloud and hybrid services after implementation or migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor cloud services, applications, infrastructure, data pipelines, and integrations for availability, performance, capacity, security events, and operational health.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, dashboards, synthetic testing, log analytics, incident escalation, and service-level reporting.
- Lead or support incident triage, root-cause analysis, remediation, problem management, and continuous service improvement.
- Automate recurring operations, patching, backup verification, configuration validation, scaling, deployment, and recovery processes.
- Support production cutovers, hypercare, service transition, operational readiness reviews, and knowledge transfer.
- Conduct capacity planning, availability analysis, performance tuning, resiliency testing, and disaster-recovery exercises.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years in cloud operations, systems engineering, infrastructure support, SRE, or enterprise application operations. Experience with monitoring, logging, automation, incident management, and production support. Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, AWS CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, or comparable tools preferred.
